Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of 4KVideo Camera Pro. Please read them carefully before downloading, purchasing, or using the application.
1. Acceptance of These Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, purchasing, or using 4KVideo Camera Pro, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not download or use the application. These Terms apply to all users, including users who access free features, trial features, paid subscriptions, or lifetime-purchase functionality.
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in your country or region. If you use the application on behalf of a company, production team, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Description of the Application
4KVideo Camera Pro is a manual video-recording application for compatible Apple devices. Depending on device hardware, iOS version, permissions, selected camera, selected format, and available system capabilities, the application may provide manual control over shutter speed, ISO, exposure, focus, white balance, zoom, stabilization, frame rate, resolution, video codec, HDR recording, audio input, metering, framing guides, and recording-library organization.
Some functions are not available on every device. For example, 4K resolution, Dolby Vision HDR, 10-bit HLG, specific stabilization modes, particular frame rates, stereo input, microphone modes, or certain lenses may be limited by Apple hardware and system APIs. A listed feature does not guarantee that every combination of resolution, lens, codec, frame rate, HDR mode, stabilization mode, and audio route will be supported simultaneously.
3. Camera, Microphone, and Storage Permissions
The application requires camera access to display a live preview and record video. Microphone access is required to record audio. Photo-library access may be requested when you choose to save, export, or share recordings through supported iOS features. The application may also use local device storage to retain recordings, thumbnails, labels, preferences, and related metadata.
You control these permissions through iOS Settings. Refusing or revoking a permission may disable related features. You are responsible for ensuring that your device has sufficient free storage, battery power, processing capacity, and thermal headroom before recording important footage.
4. Lawful Recording and User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for how, where, and whom you record. Privacy, surveillance, wiretapping, consent, audio-recording, intellectual-property, venue, workplace, and data-protection laws vary by location. Before recording, you must obtain any notice, consent, permit, property release, model release, music license, or other authorization required by applicable law.
You may not use the application to secretly record where recording is prohibited, invade another person's privacy, harass or stalk another person, capture confidential material without authorization, exploit children, create unlawful content, infringe intellectual-property rights, or facilitate any illegal activity.
5. Recordings and Your Content
You retain ownership of video, audio, labels, and other content that you create using the application, subject to any rights belonging to third parties whose people, music, performances, artwork, trademarks, locations, or property appear in your recordings.
The developer does not claim ownership of your recordings. The application is primarily designed to keep recordings on your device unless you intentionally export, share, back up, or transfer them using Apple services or another service selected by you. You are responsible for maintaining backups of important content. Deleting the application, resetting the device, running out of storage, device failure, operating-system errors, or interrupted transfers may result in permanent loss.
6. Free Features, Paid Features, and Purchases
The application may offer free features, limited features, promotional access, free trials, auto-renewing subscriptions, non-consumable purchases, or a lifetime access option. The exact price, billing period, trial duration, included features, currency, taxes, and renewal terms are displayed in the App Store purchase interface before you confirm payment.
Payments are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. The developer does not directly receive or store your complete payment-card details. Subscription charges are billed to your Apple ID account when the purchase is confirmed. An auto-renewing subscription renews unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period, subject to Apple's applicable rules.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings. Deleting the application does not automatically cancel an active subscription. Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's policies and applicable law. A lifetime purchase means access for the supported lifetime of the application and service, not the lifetime of the user or device, and remains subject to these Terms, technical compatibility, and continued availability of the application.
7. Trials, Promotions, and Price Changes
If a trial is offered, unused portions of the trial may be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where permitted. Eligibility for trials or promotional pricing may be limited to new or qualifying users. The developer may change prices, plans, feature groupings, or promotional offers. Any renewal-price change will be handled through Apple and communicated as required by Apple or applicable law.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to copy, rent, lease, sell, sublicense, redistribute, publish, or commercially exploit the application itself except as expressly allowed by law. You may use footage produced with the application commercially, provided the footage and your recording activity comply with applicable law and third-party rights.
You must not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, defeat security controls, bypass payment mechanisms, manipulate receipts, interfere with App Store validation, introduce malware, overload supporting systems, use automated tools to probe the application, or attempt unauthorized access to source code, developer systems, or other users' data.
9. Device Compatibility and Recording Limitations
Video recording is sensitive to hardware and environmental conditions. Long recordings, high resolutions, high frame rates, HDR, stabilization, high bitrates, bright-screen use, and simultaneous audio processing can increase heat, battery drain, storage use, or processing load. iOS may limit, interrupt, or modify capture behavior to protect the device.
The developer does not guarantee that every recording will complete successfully or that exposure, focus, color, audio, stabilization, orientation, metadata, bitrate, or file compatibility will always meet your expectations. You should test your selected settings, monitor available storage, confirm microphone routing, and make backup recordings for important events.
10. Updates and Changes to the Application
The application may be updated to improve performance, address security or compatibility issues, modify features, comply with Apple requirements, or support new devices. Features may be added, changed, limited, suspended, or removed. Certain updates may require a newer iOS version or device capability.
You are responsible for installing updates when reasonably necessary. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated application and any revised Terms made available to you.
11. Intellectual Property
The application, source code, interface design, graphics, icons, documentation, branding, trademarks, and other developer-provided materials are owned by or licensed to the developer and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use the application under these Terms and the EULA, no ownership right is transferred to you.
12. Third-Party Services and Apple Services
The application may interact with Apple frameworks and services, including the camera system, microphone system, Photos, Share Sheet, StoreKit, iCloud-related user choices, and App Store subscription services. Your use of Apple services is also subject to Apple's terms and privacy policies.
When you share a recording to a third-party application or service, that third party controls its own processing, storage, security, and use of the content. The developer is not responsible for third-party services, external websites, transmission failures, or actions taken by services you select.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the application is provided “as is” and “as available.” The developer disclaims all express, implied, and statutory warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, uninterrupted availability, compatibility, and freedom from errors.
No advice, exposure reading, bitrate estimate, audio meter, focus indicator, horizon display, stabilization label, or other on-screen information should be treated as a professional guarantee. You remain responsible for verifying settings and results.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary, or consequential damages; loss of recordings, revenue, profits, data, opportunity, reputation, or production costs; failed shoots; missed moments; device damage; third-party claims; or costs of replacement services arising from use of or inability to use the application.
Where liability cannot legally be excluded, the developer's total liability will be limited to the amount you paid for the application during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or the minimum amount required by law, whichever is greater.
15. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the developer from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your recordings, your unlawful use of the application, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person's privacy, publicity, contractual, or intellectual-property rights.
16. Suspension and Termination
Your right to use the application may end automatically if you materially violate these Terms or the EULA. The developer may also restrict access to features where reasonably necessary to address fraud, security risks, unlawful use, payment abuse, or legal requirements. Upon termination, you must stop using the application. Provisions that should reasonably survive termination will remain effective.
17. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated to reflect changes in the application, law, business practices, or Apple requirements. The revised effective date will be shown at the top. Where required, additional notice may be provided. Continued use after revised Terms become effective means that you accept them.
18. Governing Law and Consumer Rights
These Terms are governed by applicable law, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country or region. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded. Any dispute should first be submitted to the support address so the parties can attempt a practical resolution.
19. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the EULA, and any purchase terms shown by Apple form the entire agreement concerning your use of the application.
